Every year (sometimes more), Martin Éthier of the Game Artisans of Canada invites us all into the woods for a cottage weekend of board game design and testing we've come to call Cardstockawa!
This was my second year attending and it was well worth the trip out to the boonies. I got two games to the table, both of which were well received and got to play a number of other games from other GAC members. The quality of feedback from these seasoned designers is really phenomenal and it's great to be around this level of creativity. Who knows, I might have something to announce in the coming months.
For those who love bad pictures, here are a couple more blurry shots.
